HEYOHHHH... I've been taking a break from Guitar Hero recently to play "real drums". I've been using my old Yamaha Stage Series drum set for 20 years! It was time for an upgrade. Here I'm playing a little medley of 3 of my favorite songs. A ballad, a little hip-hop-y pop tune, and some psychotic fusion jazz. All you seasoned musicians out there will probably criticize my drumming. I admit, I'm sloppy in spots, I trample all over these songs, and I wouldn't necessarily play some of this stuff if I were recording them for real. But I'm not trying to be a working musician here. This is for fun. I'm laying out some ideas and I'm having a blast playing on this kit. I used 3 standard "kits" that came with the TD-20. The first one is "Studio" then "Slammin'" then "RotoKit". I hooked up a foot pedal to switch between them. I kinda screwed up the last transition, but this was my first take, and I like raw takes, so here ya go! I plan on making some more "real drums" videos with the V-Drums, so I hope you like them. For those of you who hate this and want to see me get back to "video game drumming"... I just might have a reason now to buy Rock Band! I will probably eventually be hooking these up to that and releasing some pwnage on that game sometime later. Thanks for checking this out.
