Montague Island CSA

Back

Located off the far South Coast of New South Wales in Australia, Montague Island Nature Reserve is only 80 hectares in size but it is a haven for thousands of seabirds including little penguins and shearwaters as well as being a haul-out site for up to 2,000 Australian and New Zealand fur seals. It has become a popular visitor destination particularly during the whale season when migrating humpback whales can be seen in their southerly migration to Antarctic waters.
