Slide Guitar Lesson 1 - Standard Tuning, fingers and slide

Back

eyeprod.net Check out my blues rock band at http://www.myspace.com/hardrideblues This is my first attempt at a video lesson on slide. I chose one of my own little tunes that utilizes a combination of left hand techinques. I left out the vocal for this lesson. I explain the approach I use for this song, which is kind of a southern rock thing. It uses a I,IV,V progression in a somewhat predictable way. The key is in A, the chords used are A, D, E and G with a little C thrown in briefly here and there. For this lesson I plugged the 77 Ibanez Custom Agent Les Paul copy into my 71 Ampeg V4. You can see my pedal board, but for this clip I'm only using the katana boost and a little delay on the DMM.
