Cobbs Creek Recreation/Bike Path

Back

I took a ride out along the 4 mile stretch of the Cobbs Creek Recreation Path to capture some of the sights. It's a lovely ride that gets far too little exposure. I only saw one other cyclist during two hours of riding back and forth. Highlights along the way are Taste O' Home (the Caribbean restaurant at 61st and Baltimore) and Mount Moriah Cemetery.(See this site for more about that: http://www.mountmoriahcemetery.org/) Along the way there are some great views of Cobbs Creek which was teeming with fish and frogs. Check out www.malcolmxpark.org for more about West Philadelphia. For more on bicycling in philly, check out Philadelphia Bicycle News: http://bcgp.blogspot.com/ http://www.malcolmxpark.org
