So you play trompete?! That is such a beautiful intstrument (all instruments are very special). You are amazing ! I as glad to be able to hear and learn about different musics. You should put your music in you tube. Did you think of doing that? I bet it would be awesome! Thanks :-)

Hi Silvia I remember being introduced to Satchmo in my high school years..my mom had gotten me several Armstrong records! And I spent soooo much time listening and trying to play like him...I must say his licks influenced my style of playing!

I remember many years ago trying to tell other's that just didn't get it that Satchmo was something so very special,.."just listen to his voice,his phrasing, his musical message"! All they could hear was that gravel voice...nothing else..? like Dhaaaaaaa!
