I don't mean strained, restrained, meaning she kinda held back on the vocals a little. Celine holding back a little is still far better than a lot of artists now though.

I wouldn't go as far as ruined, maybe she just didn't really nail it like she usually does. She sounded a bit restrained to me, still great nonetheless. You should check out the video of Charice Pempengco singing this song in her living room, now, that's bringing it.
