As much as I love Led Zep, The Beatles based on musical talent, as in the composing of albums, artistic achievement, are easily up to the same standard. The way they developed, evolved, explored in such a small amount of time was amazing, they changed popular music forever in a big way, and I think most who have a real decent knowledge of them would agree. I am very thankful for both bands, they both enrich my life in different ways, as much as eachother.

i'll be honest, i'm not entirely familiar with the beatles work but i think i know enough to say that they were nowhere near the caliber of musicians as the guys from led zeppelin were, so when you say 'they were the masters', i suspect you don't mean of music because that certainly isn't the case
