We are strong believers that we are judged according to the life that we live today, and our history is our legacy. Khmers are compassionate, caring, and forgiving people. Because of the wars, we have forgotten this. We believe in his holy the lord Buddah, and we hold our parents as high. The word khmer is a representation of our precept of the female patriarch. 'Kh' in khmer is the beginning of our consonant. Placing it to the highest degree. 'Mer' is mother. And Karma is the way of life.

It is proud to be khmer, as being the only country in the world who has conquered south asia. Survived:Flooding, genocide, corruption, deceit, the same amount of bombardment japan faced. We faced many enemies such as: China, Vietnam, Burma, Thailand yes America too. Even with the corruption we are still facing, yet we still have the mentality to strive. ill give it a good 20-50 years and we'll pwn every other country. What other country do U know has had such a history Close to Extinction.

my gf is viet and im cambo.. but yeh if u were the one still living in srok khmer ud understand the bitter hate, why are they living like that? why are things liek that? who is to blame for that? its not as easy for ppl to just brush it off and say ohwell lets forget about it and move on. I know i wouldnt id wanna burn the mutha fuckers down to the ground =]

I'm half thai and I think the cambodian anthem is very beautiful its such a good stressfree melody cool that Thailand have a neighbour like Cambodia

Khmer Civilization is one of the big Khmer pride and whatever good and bad happened to Khmers, Khmers are still proud of being born as Khmers and being as Khmers. Khmer pride world wide.

Yes be proud to be Khmer! but pride doesnt mean u have to hate our neighbours for what their ancestors have done.
