Eric has never been an amazing singer. Though his guitar just weeps. (Yes he was the lead guitarist in the Beatles song, While my Guitar Gently Weeps.) While Mayers just doesn't weep. It doesn't have as much emotion. Though the emotion he plays with is alot, its just not as much as clapton.

I agree. The thing of it is, Clapton has never been one to steal a show when others are on stage, unfortunately. He holds back unless he's solo, then he can really let loose. I understand why he does that, but it's somewhat disappointing.

ERIC CLAPTON IS 63 YEARS OLD!!!! of course he isnt as "pumped" as john mayer... john is 31 years old... and no clapton didnt get "owned"... they are both amazing, but by no means did clapton get"owned"
