His english isn't that good. But he could speak 5 or more languages, canto, mandrian, and japanese, he spoke really well. And the westerners aren't actually comparing johnny depp with takeshi, they are just ya you know, trying to give him honor, though that may not be welcomed. But I guess takeshi don't mind.

I don't feel that people are comparing them, I feel that what they are saying is that Takeshi is at the same level as many westerners put Johnny Depp. They are both hugely talented and good looking actors, and they are both on the list for best male actors in the world. ;)
