批判もあるでしょうが現時点で帝国海軍と質、量を肩に並べる国は、数えるほどしかありません。殆どの国は、帝国海軍以下であり誕生時の近代日本海軍の海軍も少なくありません。現在の海上自衛隊も体制的に問題がありますがその問題があってこそも今の様相を整えているこれは、誠に驚嘆すべき事実であります。

帝国海軍77年の歴史、海上自衛隊も誕生して約60年そろそろ誕生してから帝国海軍と同じ年月を迎えようとしています。77年と60年が近代日本海軍の年月です。

おっしゃるとおり　開戦当時　連合艦隊のような 規模の海軍があったのはアメリカのみでしょう。 日本以外すべて植民地のようなアジア諸国において非白人国でたった1国だけ欧米に立ち向かったことは奇跡的偉業と言っても過言ではないと思います。
