why ppl have marked this comment as negative is beyond me - Benetton WERE found guilty of tampering with the rig by removing a filter to allow the fuel to flow faster than normal.

That's not true. The official FIA report said that a filter had been removed, allowing some foreign object to get it and jam the valve open.

Flavio Briatore had the team remove the safety valve in the fuel rig to gain time during refuelling, which caused the accident. Both him and Schumacher were cheating bastards while at Benneton, with this, illegal traction control and illegal undercar skidblock. Briatore is a slimey twat
