It's just a fun way to explore the similarities between chimps and humans. Don't get your shorts in a bunch people, yeesh. And MarioFlame1000, we've come a long way in understanding the concept of evolution as it stands in theory and it's rather solid, despite the skeleton incident.

The closest would be the Bonobo, i personally am not ready to call them a type of human unless they can speak, they can use sign language very well though when they're able to speak i'll be able to call them humans.

goes back to dna you ignorant fuck, we're similiar in dna, obviously behavior is different and appearance no duh, we're not talking about the "extreme" lets let chimps go to school with us and vote and get married under the legal system. just acknowledging the fact that we're the same in the sense of our roots that we are just animals as well, just a bunch of shaved apes with power axes knocking the rain forrests down.

Before you make silly comments, I suggest you back to read up on 9th grade science. 99.4% refers to the similarity between DNA construction of a chimp and a human. DNA construction is nor a direct correlation to intelligence. Though comparatively to other animals, chimps are more human-like than any other. There have been studies that show chimps war amongst their own and are capable of using basic tools in order to fight.
