This, guys...is a masterpiece. Just like every other Jim Jarmusch films, to be honest. But I don't know, this one tends on a subject that's been forgotten with the time...and the dwende representation is charismatic. Just wonderful.

Just finished watching the movie for the first time and loved it! Enjoyed the b+w as well. Also appreciated the accuracy of the indians. Loved the music as well, even though I'm not a Young fan, Lynyrd Skynyrd fan, and we have long memories. Anyway, if more directors thought about the art of the movie, like Dead Man, we would have more great movies, not just remakes of sitcoms. Like it or not, that's your choice, but I loved it.

The movie got polarized reviews. The critics either loved it as a masterpiece or panned it as a mess. I thought Neil Young's music was very original, but the script needed a bit of work. Johnny Depp also seepwalks through parts of the movie where he should be looking terrified.

That's the most ignorant thing I've ever heard. Shooting b/w was a conscious choice in content form. Although keeping people like you from watching it is useful as well.

Dead Man is a masterpiece. It's one of the most exciting and important American movies from the 90s that I've had the chance to see.
